At the 2016 Innsbruck Tanzsommer, ensembles from Europe, Canada and Australia unveil the immense expressive potential of dance. With its production Weltenwanderer the Hessian State Ballet represents classical modern dance, while Canadian company ‘7 Fingers’ is all set to ‘bring circus to a human scale’ with a congenial mix of dance and acrobatics. Ensemble ‘Djuki Mala’ from Australia fires up the stage with an infectious blend of traditional and modern dance elements, whereas the ‘Hungry Sharks’ take a dynamic approach to the virtual world with hip hop and house.
